What it does: The utility lets you design a waveform by its spectrum, that is, the different subtones the sound (and any sound) consists of. It also lets you edit the wave directly and pitch the replay tone. The wave is saved, ready to use in a tracker or sound program. How to start: Simply type "Spectrum" or double-click the icon. Make sure no other sound program is running at the same time. How to use: The sc̳?yreen consists of two parts. The upper part lets you edit the spectrum by 63 bars, of which the leftmost is the main tone, the next has double frequency, the third has triple frequency and so on. The rightmost (64:th) bar allows you to pitch the sound. The wave, consisting of 128 bytes, is displayed in the lower part of the screen and is updated in realtime. Both areas can be edited with the mouse-pointer. Set with left button and clear with right button. How to exit: Simply pres+s any key on the keyboard. The wave is then saved as "ram:wave", a raw sample of 128 bytes.
